Brr. It was 47 and sunny yesterday and 48 with torrential rains the day before, enough to wipe away any snow we had. Today it is 20. That is the Midwest for you. Precisely why I am ignoring all the packing materials from Christmas deliveries (and the rest of our messy place) and groceries on the counter in favor of tucking in with my blanket on the couch and watching Christmas movies all night.
On the docket for the weekend: cleaning (booooring!), date night, and two different holiday parties (!), including my very first ugly Christmas sweater party -- an engagement party for my sweet friend and her fiance!
