Christmas Cache (aka instagram dump)

I am finally ready for Christmas!  And officially in the Christmas mood!  (It took a lot longer this year, probably because I know I will have to work both the Eve and the Day).  It has been a busy past week or so since Christmas break officially started.  Our weekend was super fun and super social (for us anyways!).  We went to my friend's engagement party and finally met her fiance, Max (I super approve):

Since TJ has been on night float, we have slowly adjusted to sleeping during the day together (it is all about my routine...don't mess with it!):

Though the tree has been up since the day after Thanksgiving, I finally have all our decorations just right....and our place is finally clean! (Who knew we were such dirty birds?)

I can't convince TJ to go with colored lights for the tree, but my little fake ficus gets decked out in colored lights (love the LED ones -- so much brighter and vibrant than the old kinds):

We squeezed in a movie night after our friend's annual Christmas party this past Sunday:

And....(almost) all my Christmas baking is finished!  Peanut butter blossom, butter toffee, krumkake, and gingerbread men round out the treats this year.  I just have to finish baking and decorating gingerbread men and make some cinnamon rolls for the weekend.

Bam. Now I can enjoy our tree -- complete with all our lovely presents underneath :)
